A big pillar of my style comes from my background in fine art and with drawing. I believe a good logo lives in the hands first and so my iteration process always starts with pencil on paper. My philosophy in art is that humans are drawn to humans and if you remove the personal touch in a piece of art through the overuse of a computer, you lose a point of common connection, it’s therefore important to me that my logos retain the feel of their construction, that they surprise the viewer not lull them into a sense of normalcy and predictability. Our eyes are always drawn to good art and good art starts on the page.
